Using the toolbar

In order use the Voltaire Support Toolbar resources, user must must be logged in to the Voltaire SupportWeb once.

1)    Login to Support Web and have the browser remember your user and password.

2)    By default the toolbar offers a Google or Voltaire SupportWeb search as well as links to SupportWeb resources

 

3)    To search - Type your search string and press "Go".

4)    For First time usage press on the magnifying glass and choose the Voltaire search engine before you click on the "Go" button (by default the toolbar is set tot he google search).

 

Using the toolbar Switch Health center

The Toolbar Switch Health Center is a enable you to check your local Voltaire switch health directly from your browser toolbar by launching the Switch GUI, extract switch logs and statistics report in one click .

 

To use the toolbar switch health center tool:

1)    Enter your Voltaire switch IP address in the search bar window
2)    Choose one of the following options from the Switch Health Center bar. The browser will present the relevant information immediately

a.    Launch Fabric Manager GUI
b.    Launch Device Manager GUI
c.    Get fabric Port Counters in CSV format
d.    View switch error log
e.    View switch event log
f.    View switch Bad ports summery
