End-of-Life Products

Product End-of-Life milestones

Mellanox suggests that customers familiarize themselves with our Product Life Cycle Policy. Particularly important to customers are the three product life cycle milestones that each Mellanox product passes through before reaching the end of its life cycle:

• Last Time Buy (LTB) - This milestone represents the last date that Mellanox will accept orders for the related product. This milestone also represents the last date that customers may purchase or attach new maintenance contracts to an affected product. After this date, the product is considered within its End-of-Life (EOL) Support Phase. 

• Last Maintenance Extension (LME) - This milestone represents the last date Mellanox will accept an order for a Support Contract or warranty extension, or renewal of an existing support contract attached to a product that an EOL has been initiated.  Support contract extensions may be purchased for single year terms only.

• Manufacturing Discontinue (MD) - This milestone represents the product manufacturing discontinue date

• Support Discontinue Date (SD) - This milestone represents the last date support will be offered and represents the final milestone in a Mellanox product's life cycle. After this date, Mellanox will not sale, manufacture, improve, maintain or support the affected product and considers it obsolete.
