Firmware Download
Starting January 2009, Voltaire has stopped providing HCA firmware. Most HCA are coming with the latest firmware available, but if you need to upgrade your HCA firmware, please use the links below.
These guidelines will help you understanding which firmware file is needed.
- Identify your HCA using the board ID, this can be checked using the command "ibv_devinfo". You can also use the product name or part number in case your board ID is different, or check these instructions (From Mellanox Site)
- Click on the download link (this redirects you to the vendor firmware page)
- Locate the correct firmware file by matching the MLNX/ Qlogic part on that page.
- In some cases you will see several options, in such a case you will need to verify which board revision you are using, this case be done using the Linux command "lspci -v"
- Download the firmware file and place it on your server.
- Burn the HCA using the "mstflint" command , for more info, please read the following FAQ.
