Voltaire's TOP500 Leadership

Voltaire is the marketshare leader for InfiniBand switching. 

The closely watched TOP500 list, issued twice a year on www.TOP500.org, ranks the most powerful supercomputers worldwide and serves as a valuable tool for tracking trends in supercomputer performance and architectures. 

Voltaire continues to lead InfiniBand deployments on the list. On the list published in November 2010:

• 56% of the InfiniBand deployments use Voltaire switches
• Voltaire has double the share of deployments of any other IB systems vendor
• Voltaire switches accelerate 31 of the Top 100 systems – including 3 of the Top 10 and 3 of the 7 total petascale systems on the list
• Voltaire is used in 82% of the commercial sites that use InfiniBand
