Mellanox Technologies Completes Acquisition of Voltaire

I’m excited to announce that, today, Mellanox has completed the acquisition of Voltaire.  We will operate as one company starting immediately.  

Together, we will be able to expand market reach and accelerate growth by combining silicon, system and software expertise with the strong combined market presence in adapters and systems.  Our company will provide the industry with the most efficient and comprehensive high-performance end-to-end solutions for InfiniBand and Ethernet.

Voltaire has been a long-time partner and customer of Mellanox, and I look forward to the exciting opportunities that this union brings.  The demand for high-bandwidth, low-latency server and storage connectivity is accelerating in the HPC, enterprise, mega warehouse data centers, cloud computing, Internet and Web 2.0 markets. Starting today, we now have more of a solid foundation for market-leading solutions to address and serve a larger and more diverse customer base.
